Movie Night: "The Public"

Celebrate National Library Week with a free showing of "The Public" starting at 5:30 pm. In this movie, a librarian helps a group of homeless people take refuge from a brutal winter night by staging a sit-in at the free public library. A misunderstanding causes his noble act to wrongly escalate into a hostage situation with a political candidate and a TV reporter stoking the drama for their own agendas. Rated PG13, 122 minutes.
