Month Calendar

February is Library Lover's Month and we're playing Library Battleship all month long to celebrate!  For every 5 items you check out, kids, teens or adults get 1 shot at the Library Battleship board, located in the TalkReadPlay Center.

Children can improve their reading skills and make a new, furry, four-legged friend by reading aloud to a licensed therapy dog!  No registration is necessary, just drop in for some one-on-one time with a canine friend!

Each week in the TalkReadPlay Center Creative Zone, there will be activities set up geared towards helping your preschooler get ready for Kindergarten!

CYOA Book Club is for kids going into 1st through 5th grades.  Come read the book with us and choose where your story leads, then enjoy a craft, game, activity or snack to go along with the book.

Join Miss Tina every week for stories, songs, rhymes, crafts, music and movement!  This program’s focus is on the development of early literacy skills and fostering a love of reading in preschoolers.

Looking for an easy craft project to get your flow going in 2025? Join us for another installment of Jewelry Making for Beginners. This time we’ll be doing a Maker’s Space Drop in craft so NO registration required!

Are you and introvert (or an introverted extrovert) and want a low key book club? Do you like to read, but don’t like being told what to read? Do you want to go out, but don’t want to ‘people’ a lot? 

Bowls and recipe reviews from our "Soup"er Bowl are due on February 26. They will be displayed at the library through the month of March. Each person who participates will be able to keep their bowl after the display is over.
